Game Dev Log #2 – Langit Lupa - First Multiplayer Testing!

We just had our first test for multiplayer - super exciting! In a previous post, I talked about wanting to bring the classic Filipino childhood game, Langit Lupa, into an office setting for our game.

Although it's still not exactly what we envisioned, we were too eager and decided to jump into testing the multiplayer function as soon as we got it working.

The video only shows a basic office setup with character animations and no furniture yet. Ducoy, Russele, and I just let our imaginations run wild, trying to see if the game's chase aspect was fun.

And guess what? We ended up spending almost an hour just running around trying to "catch" each other in the game. It was hilarious how quickly they started finding bugs and loopholes, especially Russele, and this was only our first try!

Despite it just being the bare bones of the game, we had a blast. So, it's a definite success in my book!

I'm really looking forward to adding more features and refining the game until we reach our ultimate vision.
